We got married on September 2nd, the Friday over Labor Day weekend. It was such a gorgeous day outside. Not too hot, and not too cold. A perfect overcast with the sun shining at just the right moments. I was so beyond thankful. Since we had our venue picked out very early on, the vibe of the day was pretty clear to us. We wanted to embrace the beauty of the venue itself, surrounded by the beautiful grounds, tall trees, hills, and greenery. We highlighted the sage greens, the neutral creams with a hint of gold. We wanted a timeless, romantic feel and that is exactly how it came to be. We had a year to plan, which meant all the DIY projects I could possibly fit in to that time frame. I can’t capture everything in one post, so I am breaking things down, up first: The Details.
Hello everyone! Happy Spring! When the seasons change, I switch up my skin care routine. That was some of the best advice I have ever received! I am always looking for new products to try out! I am lucky enough to not have super sensitive skin when it comes to products, so I am able to try out all kinds of serums. “Retinol” was always a scary word to me. I thought it was for the older generation. But learning all about how important it is to take care of your skin in your 20s was mind-blowing! I started using retinol serums a couple years ago. And it really is a game-changer. So when goPure reached out and asked me to try and review their Firm and Lift Serum, I was all in!
Hey friends! Okay okay, I have some really exciting news to share. Does anyone remember the pink bubble gum flavored toothpaste that had Barbie as the icon on the packaging? I don’t blame you if you don’t, but my brain will never forget it. It was the only flavor of toothpaste my mom could get me to use as a kid. For some reason, I wasn’t going anywhere near any other flavors. But once I got older, I had to graduate to adult toothpaste and the bubble gum flavor was gone forever. UNTIL NOW!
I don’t know about you guys but I spend way too much of my time shopping at Target, and not just because my card designs are sold there :P I’m probably there like once a week (sometimes more lol) I live dangerously close to a Target so that doesn’t help…HA. Over the past couple years, Target has STEPPED UP their fashion game, anyone else agree?! I rounded up some of my favorite finds this fall season!
My family has been making ravioli for years now. Its a tradition that my great grandma started with my grandma and great aunt. Every Christmas, all my cousins, my mom, my sister and aunts all get together to make about 350 ravioli for the holidays. It's such a special time together and its so fun. We get rowdy, listen to Italian music and throw flour at each other.
